Crazy Winter Log Cabin

This was a lot of fun.  I found a very small piece of the teddy holiday fabric so I 'fussy-cut' the teddies for the centres and found some festive motifs for the other middles.  Each seam has been embroidered using my sewing machine - just to see what stitches I had. 

Robot Santas

This quilt is based on Debbie Mumm's "Sew Many Santas"  I created each Santa in different colours and added stuffed moustaches to them.

(The title comes from the first reaction my husband Jim had when he saw it pieced but without the moustaches! - and he was right!!)

Machine pieced, hand quilted in many different patterns and very, very nearly finished!

Winter Days

I created this quilt around a fabric which had small square pictures of each of the 12 days of Christmas - so I put each one in a log cabin block.  Machine quilted.
